JUNIOR ASSOCIATE

Responsibilities include: Tour Management- entering new tour dates in our system from 3rd party systems, application of tax withholding reduction, keeping the team informed of timing- budgeting & reconciliation of tours. Helping with budget preparation. Banking – learning our banking system and taking charge of making payments timely, getting approvals, and saving down correct corresponding support. Filing paperwork to open new accounts. Bookkeeping – accounts payable, accounts receivable, transfers, reconciling credit cards and journal entries. Administrative tasks- answering phones, emails, making copies and scanning documents in proper client folders. Ability to interact professionally with clients and their teams. Many other special projects as needed.

Requirements: Passion for music and the music industry is a must. College Graduate with an Accounting / Finance degree or Music Industry degree preferred. Experience in an office environment. Positive attitude, a self-motivator with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while working independently. Excellent verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, & Outlook. Xero, Quick Books, or another accounting software knowledge and experience is a plus. Ability to maintain client and firm confidentiality. The ideal candidate is thorough and direct with strong critical thinking skills and someone who can prioritize effectively.

Salary: $50-55k, commensurate with experience
