Experienced Travel Advisor

WHAT YOU WILL DO: Your initial focus will be managing trips that our team has already started building. You will: Take ownership of assigned trips from planning through final documents, including researching hotels, tours, activities, transfers, and other trip details. Communicate with travel partners to confirm reservations, follow up on outstanding details and deadlines, and keep everything moving forward. Review and maintain accurate trip information in Tern and prepare and finalize client travel documents. Communicate with clients when needed and help provide a smooth, personalized travel experience. Work closely with the VBT team and maintain regular communication with Ilja regarding priorities, questions, and responsibilities. As you become familiar with VBT, our clients, suppliers, and systems, the role can grow. There will be opportunities to take on more client-facing travel planning and other responsibilities as we continue to build the business.

WHO WE ARE: LOOKING FORTravel industry experience is required | Experience with Tern CRM is a plus. We are looking for someone who:*Has solid experience as a Travel Advisor or in a similar travel role and is comfortable working with hotels, tour operators, cruise lines, and other travel suppliers.*Is organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple trips, deadlines, and follow-ups while taking ownership from start to finish.*Is comfortable with technology, willing to learn new systems, and able to work confidently in Tern and other travel platforms.*Communicates clearly and professionally with both clients and travel partners.*Enjoys helping people, takes pride in creating a great travel experience, and is comfortable finding solutions when things do not go as planned.*Works well independently while also being a collaborative member of a small team. SCHEDULE & AVAILABILITYThis is a remote position beginning at 24 to 32 hours per week. Travel does not always follow a Monday–Friday schedule, so the position requires some flexibility for: Occasional weekend availability After-hours support when needed On-call responsibilities for active travelers We are looking for someone who understands that when our clients are traveling, our team needs to be there for them.
