Manager of Site Reliability

Responsibilities: Assess current SRE practices and build a roadmap to improve reliability, availability, and performance. Lead and develop teams while coordinating with external engineering partners. Establish reliability measures, service objectives, and operational readiness standards. Improve monitoring, alerting, incident response, and root cause analysis. Drive automation and self-healing capabilities to reduce manual work and recurring issues. Partner with developers and infrastructure engineers to improve resilience, deployment practices, and scalability. Evaluate opportunities to use AI and other technologies to detect and address issues proactively. Communicate technical priorities and service performance to business stakeholders.

Qualifications: Significant experience leading SRE, DevOps, or production engineering teams in an enterprise environment. Proven success developing and implementing an SRE improvement strategy. Strong people management skills, including coaching and developing engineers. A hands-on technical background spanning cloud infrastructure and software engineering. Working knowledge of AWS or another major cloud platform. Experience with observability, incident management, automation, and modern deployment practices. Understanding of SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, and how they guide reliability decisions. Strong communication skills and the ability to influence across teams.
