Surgical Physician Assistant - PA

Your Role: Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and comprehensive medical history reviews Assist in assessing and diagnosing surgical conditions via imaging interpretations and laboratory results Work in concert with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans Deliver integral support during surgeries, including preparing operating rooms, positioning patients, and efficiently handling surgical instruments Provide outstanding pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication management, wound treatment, discharge planning, and patient education

Qualifications: Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program Completion of clinical rotations, ideally with a surgical focus

Certifications: Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification BLS and ACLS certifications are required State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant Skills Deep understanding of surgical principles and sterile procedures Proven ability to analyze diagnostic tests and inform complex clinical decisions Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Aptitude for performing well in high-pressure scenarios, particularly during surgical interviews Empathetic bedside manner and deep respect for patients' dignity and autonomy
