Patient Benefits & Financial Care Coordinator

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts seeks a Benefits Coordinator for the Department of Mental Health’s MBMHU. This role supports inpatient units at Lemuel Shattuck Hospital, guiding patients through Medicaid/Mass Health, SSI and SSDI processes and advising on budgeting and personal finances. Hours are 8:30am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday, with weekends off. The position emphasizes compassionate service, collaboration with clinical teams, and adherence to DMH policies and state/federal regulations.
