Product Engineer - Medical

Buyers Products Company, a leading manufacturer in the work truck industry, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will develop and design innovative products from concept through production, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and support the continued improvement of products and manufacturing processes. You will play a key role in transforming customer and business needs into practical, high-quality engineering solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical engineering background, experience designing products for manufacturing, and a passion for solving technical challenges. Develop and design products from concept to production – working with internal and external customers as required. Design mechanical assemblies, weldments, castings, forgings, plastic and Sheetmetal components using PTC Creo. Provide engineering support for existing products at the manufacturing facility. Develop and implement product and process improvements. Assessing a design brief to gauge the design requirements. Conducting and/or using research on user experience and needs, current market trends and general functionality. Evaluating design solutions against industry standards and regulations. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents and technical procedures. S. from an accredited college in mechanical engineering~5 years of experience in design w/emphasis on sheet metal~ Mobility and dexterity to move around office settings including accessing file cabinets or storage and navigating to different workstations.
