Panel Builder

Qualifications: Associate degree or technical-school education in electrical, industrial, or related technology is preferred; equivalent hands-on experience may be considered. Previous experience building or wiring industrial control panels is preferred. Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. Familiarity with industrial electrical systems and machine controls. Basic PLC knowledge and troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with NEC requirements. Ability to use electrical testing equipment safely and accurately. Tools & EquipmentExperience using common electrical and fabrication tools, including: Conduit-bending equipment Pipe-threading equipment Sawing and cutting tools Grinders Multimeters Amp meters Computer-based electrical and diagnostic equipment Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate is comfortable working from engineering drawings, building and wiring control systems, troubleshooting equipment, and working hands-on during machine assembly and startup. Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are important for this position.
