Driver Recruitment Manager

Compensation: $100,000-$105,000 annually
About the Opportunity: Our client is seeking a Driver Recruitment Manager to lead recruitment strategy and execution across a large, multi-state transportation and logistics operation. This role will oversee driver and frontline recruiting efforts across 13 locations throughout the United States and support hiring across approximately 12 different workforce verticals, including drivers, yard jockeys, warehouse personnel, and specialty driving positions. The ideal candidate understands the transportation and logistics labor market, knows how to build recruiting campaigns that reach the right audiences, and can improve the visibility and performance of job postings across multiple markets. A major priority for this role will be improving search visibility and candidate reach when advertising openings across different states and locations. Candidates must have experience within logistics, transportation, trucking, warehousing, distribution, or a closely related industry.
What You'll Do: Lead driver and frontline recruitment efforts across 13 U.S. locations. Manage recruiting strategy across multiple hiring verticals, including:
  • Company drivers
  • Specialty drivers
  • Yard jockeys
  • Warehouse personnel
  • Other transportation and operations-focused positions
Develop and improve multi-state job advertising strategies to increase candidate visibility and application volume. Optimize job postings for search performance across major job boards and recruiting platforms. Evaluate job titles, keywords, locations, posting structure, and campaign performance to improve search visibility. Partner with operations leadership to understand hiring needs by location, shift, account, and workforce type. Build targeted sourcing and advertising campaigns based on local labor markets. Monitor applicant flow and adjust recruiting strategies when specific locations or positions are underperforming. Manage recruiting campaigns across multiple markets simultaneously while maintaining consistent branding and messaging. Identify new channels and sourcing methods for reaching commercial drivers and other frontline talent. Track recruiting metrics including applicant volume, source performance, cost per applicant, conversion rates, and time to fill. Work closely with hiring managers to ensure recruiting activity aligns with operational staffing needs. Improve recruiting processes to increase speed, consistency, and candidate engagement. Help develop standardized recruiting practices while allowing for market-specific adjustments. Support employer branding and recruitment marketing initiatives. Stay current on trends affecting driver recruitment, candidate behavior, and the transportation labor market.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of recruiting experience, preferably with responsibility for high-volume or multi-location hiring.
  • Experience recruiting within transportation, trucking, logistics, warehousing, distribution, supply chain, or a closely related industry is required.
  • Strong understanding of commercial driver and frontline operations recruiting.
  • Experience recruiting across multiple states or geographic markets.
  • Proven ability to manage recruiting campaigns across a variety of job types and locations.
  • Experience improving job posting visibility, applicant flow, and recruiting campaign performance.
  • Strong understanding of job boards, sourcing platforms, recruiting advertising, and digital candidate acquisition.
  • Experience analyzing recruiting metrics and adjusting strategy based on performance.
  • Ability to work directly with operations leaders and hiring managers in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple hiring priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience with recruitment marketing, employer branding, or digital advertising is a plus.
