Senior Project Manager- Siding & Windows

What We're Looking For: We are looking for an experienced *windows and siding professional — not someone learning the trades.* You should have approximately *10+ years of exterior remodeling experience with significant experience in windows and siding.* You should be highly detail-oriented, organized, accountable, and comfortable managing a lot of moving pieces without allowing things to fall through the cracks. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who has *helped build and improve an operation before.* You shouldn't just know how to follow a process. You should understand how to *build one.*

Initial Responsibilities: Senior Project Manager You'll be hands-on in the department and responsible for managing projects from post-sale through completion, including: * Perform detailed pre-production inspections and job-site walkthroughs * Accurately measure and verify window and siding projects before ordering * Review scopes of work, contracts, measurements, photos, and job details * Identify potential installation problems *before* a project begins * Verify material takeoffs and orders * Coordinate installers, subcontractors, materials, deliveries, and schedules * Manage vinyl siding, James Hardie, replacement windows, soffit, fascia, trim and related exterior projects * Maintain strong communication with homeowners throughout production * Work closely with Sales, Administration and Operations * Inspect projects for workmanship and Paramount quality standards * Manage punch lists and job completion * Troubleshoot difficult field and installation issues * Track job costing, production timelines and profitability * Ensure accurate documentation inside our CRM and production systems * Hold crews and subcontractors accountable for quality, cleanliness, communication and performance The Bigger Opportunity We're building this position with the intention of developing the right person into our *Operations Manager – Windows & Siding*. We expect the initial Senior PM period to last approximately *90–180 days*, based on performance and demonstrated leadership. Once promoted, this person would take ownership of the Windows & Siding production operation, including: * Production and scheduling * Project Managers and production staff * Installation crews and subcontractors * Material ordering and vendor relationships * Quality control * Customer experience * Service and warranty * Job costing and gross profit * Department KPIs and accountability * Hiring, training and development * Capacity planning * SOPs and production processes * Continuous improvement of the department You will have administrative support within the department. We're not looking for an Operations Manager who spends the day buried in paperwork. We're looking for someone who can *lead people, solve problems, build systems, create accountability and make the operation better.* Process & Systems Experience This is an important part of the position. We're specifically interested in candidates who have previously helped develop, implement or improve: * Standard operating procedures * Production workflows * Scheduling systems * Quality-control processes * Job costing and profitability tracking * Crew and subcontractor standards * Installation checklists * Customer communication processes * Warranty and service procedures * Production KPIs * Training and accountability systems If you've spent your career working inside a great production operation, we want to know what you learned. Qualifications: *

Required: ** Approximately *10+ years of exterior remodeling experience*, with substantial windows and siding experience * Strong technical knowledge of replacement windows and siding installation * Experience with *vinyl siding and James Hardie/fiber cement** Strong knowledge of soffit, fascia, trim, flashing, water management and exterior details * Ability to accurately measure and scope complex window and siding projects * Experience managing installation crews and subcontractors * Previous management or leadership experience * *Previous experience building or improving production processes and systems** Strong understanding of residential building practices and applicable codes * Extremely strong attention to detail * Strong organizational and problem-solving ability * Comfortable holding people accountable * Professional communication with homeowners, employees, vendors and subcontractors * Comfortable using CRM and production-management technology * Valid driver's license The Person Who Will Succeed Here We're looking for someone who takes ownership.
