Newark, NJAssignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule/ShiftThis position requires working either on holidays or providing on-call coverage for 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 winter holidays, which include Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. The shift is evenings, specifically from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Job Description: The X-Ray Technologist will provide imaging services to a diverse patient population, including inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients. The role involves performing various X-Ray procedures and utilizing imaging equipment effectively.

Responsibilities: Perform X-Ray imaging procedures including portable and bedside imaging. Utilize GE, Siemens equipment, and PACS for efficient processing and image handling. Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and infection prevention measures. Assist in preparing and administering contrast media as required during procedures. Document procedures and patient interactions in the Epic charting system. Provide care for pediatric patients in NICU and PICU settings. Work collaboratively with clinicians in performing trauma and emergency cases.

Required Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in inpatient or outpatient settings. Experience in handling C-arm and portable imaging equipment. Required pediatric experience in NICU or PICU.Certifications/LicensureARRT certification (Radiography) is preferred. Active New Jersey state license required. Current BLS certification.
