Our client is a privately held, financially strong, co-working company with continued expansion planned. The organization has a strong track record of steady growth, healthy margins, minimal leverage, and a disciplined approach to new investments. We are seeking a VP, Finance & Business Performance to serve as a strategic financial and operational partner to the CEO and senior leadership team.
Responsibilities: Oversee monthly reporting, P&L management, cash flow, working capital, and financial controls. Establish a consistent process for reviewing financial performance across the company's locations and business units. Analyze variances and identify the underlying operational factors affecting revenue, expenses, margins, and profitability. Provide senior leadership with clear conclusions and recommendations rather than simply reporting historical results. Identify opportunities to improve profitability, cash generation, and overall financial efficiency. Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial planning. Build and maintain financial models that help leadership understand potential outcomes under different scenarios. Develop KPIs and dashboards that provide visibility into the company's most important business drivers. Analyze trends across revenue, occupancy, pricing, staffing, customer activity, expenses, and other operating metrics.
Qualifications: 5+ years of progressive finance experience in a managerial setting, with significant experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic finance. Strong understanding of P&L management, forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, and business analysis. Demonstrated ability to connect financial results to underlying operational performance. Experience evaluating investments, expansions, new locations, or other growth initiatives is highly desirable. Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
