The ideal candidate will provide medical leadership and clinical oversight for individuals with complex medical, psychiatric, and behavioral health needs. Schedule:
Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMCall Schedule: Shared on-call duty with other qualified medical staff

Requirements:
- Medical Doctor (MD) licensed by the State of TexasActive DEA registration
- Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Ability to enroll as a Medicaid and Medicare Part B provider
- Prior medical director, supervisory, or clinical leadership experience preferredExperience managing complex medical, psychiatric, and/or behavioral health needs preferredExperience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred
- Ability to meet all agency and facility requirements prior to start
Responsibilities:
Direct medical services across primary care, psychiatric, dental, pharmaceutical, and lab functions.
Oversee diagnosis and treatment for individuals with complex medical and behavioral needs.
Maintain responsibility for overall medical care and clinical service quality.
Serve as primary care physician for an assigned caseload.
Supervise physicians, APRNs, PAs, pharmacists, dentists, psychiatrists, and contracted staff.
Support clinical staff with complex cases and treatment planning.
Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, committees, conferences, and work groups.
Develop and share the on-call duty schedule.
Ensure compliance with applicable policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate care for employees injured while on duty.
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders as needed.
Support emergency response and continuity operations as assigned.
Perform other duties as assigned.
