Full-Time Licensed Physical Therapist for Home Care Services

Work Environment: This position is primarily onsite, allowing you to work directly with patients in their homes, where they feel most comfortable. You will be part of a collaborative team that includes other healthcare professionals such as occupational therapists and rehabilitation aides. Working hours are from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough assessments to establish each patient's individual rehabilitation goals and treatment plans. Implement and monitor orthopedic outpatient care techniques tailored for each patient's condition. Utilize a variety of treatment modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and neuro-rehabilitation strategies, to maximize patient outcomes. Promote non-pharmaceutical interventions to support recovery and minimize dependency on medications. Motivate and empower patients by creating individualized fitness and wellness programs that focus on strength, flexibility, balance, and overall wellness. Maintain a manageable case load to provide focused and sustainable therapy sessions for each patient. Regularly evaluate and document progress using electronic medical records (EMR), particularly leveraging Web PT for precise and accurate documentation. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and continuous improvement in rehabilitation techniques. Stay current on evolving physical therapy practices to offer evidence-based solutions and enhance patient care. Patient Population / Client FocusYou will primarily work with a diverse population, including athletes recovering from injuries, post-operative patients needing rehabilitation, and individuals with chronic conditions requiring long-term care. By understanding their unique challenges and needs, you will create a supportive environment fostering recovery and personal growth.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required. An active Physical Therapist license with no history of sanctions or board proceedings. Demonstrated proficiency in multiple manual therapy techniques and exercise program development. Proficiency in using EMR software, specifically Web PT, for effective service documentation. A strong commitment to ongoing education and mastery of contemporary physical therapy practices.

Preferred Experience: Prior experience in outpatient therapy settings, particularly in home care services. Demonstrated success in developing and implementing treatment interventions for a variety of conditions. Knowledge and experience with advanced rehabilitation techniques supported by research.

Compensation and Benefits: Flexible Muscle Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, which varies based on experience and qualifications.
