This is a manager level position requiring extensive compliance experience that will be responsible for overseeing permitting, certifying, licensing and regulatory compliance of complete resort facilities, including hotel guest rooms, food & beverage operations, pools, convention centers, casino and both guest facing and non-guest facing areas. Candidate will also be responsible for accurate reporting of using excel, word electronic MMS programs and any other reporting tools with timely completion of work assignments and a high level of productivity while maintaining high positivity in a fast-paced work environment. Position will be in constant use of Microsoft office programs, electronic MMS work order systems, and company specific programs. Candidate will need to be well versed in national, regional and local permitting requirements to track and ensure timely renewals when required. Candidate will be expected to demonstrate safe work practices with a solid understanding of safety requirements when working with various cleaning chemicals while ensuring training and compliance to GHS standards.

The Building Automation System Specialist I is a sub-journey level position, performing work in the installation, operation, maintenance and repair of a wide variety of building automation DDC systems, primarily related to mechanical HVAC equipment.. Responder for campus heating, cooling, sump pump, booster pump, lighting, alarm, and access issues; providing technical guidance and resolution to DDC, building automation and related issues.. Industry standard accredited training in DDC programming (preferable Honeywell International CPO). Experience in computers, computer networking, servers as related to Building Automation. UNLV is classified by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching as an R1 research university with very high research activity, and is a recipient of the Carnegie Classification for Community Engagement.

This position is a part of the Data Strategy, Governance, and Analytics group. The AVP of Data Strategy & Governance is a subject matter expert in data analytics and business analysis. 6+ years of advanced experience using SQL (SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata etc. data visualization (Tableau, Power BI etc. data integration (SSIS, Alteryx, Talend etc.,) and at least one analytical package such as SAS, Python, R, etc.
