What You Will Do: Perform a variety of tasks associated with general plant operations and field activities that will evolve with each season throughout the year Responsible for setting up and monitoring highly automated equipment for various processes such as harvest, treating, and packaging Harvest activities such as preparation, husk sort oversight, drying, shelling etc.. Quality Control activities, such as seed quality analysis, tag printing, etc.. Field management activities such as scouting, field maintenance Warehousing activities including forklift operation, collecting samples, pooling, etc.. What Makes You Stand Out: Two-Year Technical or Associates Degree You have two (2) or more years of on-the-job manufacturing, operations, production, agriculture, or related experience Knowledge or experience with LEAN Manufacturing principles such as 5S, Continuous Improvement and Standardized Work General knowledge and/or experience with field and/or agriculture equipment (plows, tractor, forklift, etc.)

The Purchasing Manager will take an active role and participate in the direction and implementation of all procurement activities. With a team of direct reports, the Purchasing Manager is responsible for all supply chain activities including: supplier relationship development, logistics, supplier scorecards, material process development, price and contract negotiation, and economic order quantity implementation.
